Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have finally returned to their winning ways in Ligue 1. They won tonight against weak opponents Lyon.
PSG played aggressively from the start of the match. The team’s main stars Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele were in great form. PSG took the lead with two goals in the first half. Mbappe scored with his usual finishing skills, while Dembele relied on his speed to put pressure on the Lyon defense.
Lyon tried to turn things around a bit in the second half, but the PSG defense did not give them any chances. Instead, PSG scored another goal to increase the gap. With this victory, PSG has strengthened their position in the league points table.
Lyon’s coach said after the match, “PSG played great. We did not give our best.” On the other hand, the PSG coach said in a happy mood, “This is an important win for us. Everyone in the team performed well.”
Whether PSG can maintain this rhythm in their next match or not is a matter of concern.
